immersion retreat in The Work of Byron Katie
August 22-25, 2025
This retreat is an opportunity to deepen our experience in the Work of Byron Katie. It is an invitation to gently welcome ourselves as we are, to contemplate what is troubling us through inquiry, and in stillness, access our inner wisdom and truth. This retreat is perfect for beginners and those with prior experience in the Work.
We are excited to host this retreat in the beautiful Robson Valley, at the Kiyooka Land Trust, in Tête Jaune Cache, BC, Canada. The Kiyooka Land Trust is a secluded, 72-acre pristine wilderness area, that borders the Fraser River, with stunning views of the Canadian Rockies.

“I discovered the Work in 2014 and it was love at first sight! I will always remember my first inquiry and how I went from anger and resentment to gratitude in one hour. The practice of the Work allows me to become aware of my unconscious patterns, to shed light on what “acts” within me in the shadows and, little by little, these conditioned reactions- leave me. The truth is seen and frees me… With each thought I do the Work on, I meet myself and I meet the other without the filters that colour the situation. This contributes to having much more harmonious relationships, especially with my children and their father. I am delighted to offer this immersion and to let myself be surprised again by a thought!” (lesateliersdelinstant.fr)

“I discovered The Work of Byron Katie many years ago, and this simple meditative process continues to be a way to gently hold myself whenever I experience stress. I have applied The Work to all areas of my life––from minor irritations to deeply painful situations. Every time that I do the Work, I discover something that I was previously blind to, and I am left with more clarity, understanding, and compassion in my relationships with others and with myself. As I question my stressful beliefs, I become aware that reality is always kinder than what I was believing about it.“ (theworkwithhanae.com)
